Flow cytometry for plant breeding and quality control
Flow cytometry is a technique used to count and analyze particles in a fluid stream. A stained sample flows through the machine cell by cell, illuminated by monochromatic light. This allows the detection of particle type, size, fluorescence, and other properties. The method is widely used in plant breeding and seed quality control.
